Doctor update

It seems like all I write about anymore is how the pregnancy is going. That's about all the interesting news we have around here anymore. There aren't even many cute stories to share. Bear with the pregnancy news for a bit longer, and then you can suffer updates about sleep deprivation!

We (I) had a doctor's appointment today. I had a few concerns to discuss with him, but everything I questioned turned out to be quite normal. He asked me if I wanted to be checked to see how far along I was, and I did. Kevin and I both thought that there would be big changes since my hospital visits...especially with the frequency of contractions in the evenings. Apparently there has been no change at all since our hospital incident. It looks like it isn't at all out of the question to deliver around my due date. After all of the excitement of things starting to happen so early, it was a little disappointing to hear (especially since we're in the safe zone to have the baby now). But I keep reminding myself that the next three weeks will fly by. I know God has the perfect time in mind, and I'm trying very hard not to get too anxious for it.

I think I can scrounge up a Chloe story for you: Chloe was given a set of Winnie the Pooh books for Christmas from a great-aunt. The books are only about 2 inches square and only have about 5 pages each. They make great books for carrying in my purse, though. And Chloe loves how they fit perfectly in her hands. Anyway, last night she was asking Kevin to read many of the books to her. After each book he read, she insisted on reading the book herself. She would take the book away from him, turn each page, and say something appropriate to many of the pages. When she can't remember what the page was about, she would just gibber something. It's so cute to see her growing up and mimicking the world around her. She's definitely grown out of the baby stage!

Hey there. Glad to hear all is well with you. I am thinking that March 14 would be a great delivery date! LOL!

Chloe sounds like she is quite the reader. What a great thing! Sounds like she might have parents that enjoy books.

Love to all! Kristi

Hey Rebekah,
Today is Leap Year Day! A while back when you first told us that you were having contractions, I said that you would never make it to March. You have 8 hours and 46 minutes to go to prove me wrong!!! Take care and keep us posted. Love Mom Koester
